The Best Connection is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join a residential home team in Llanmaes. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This will be a possible permanent position for the correct person.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personalised care and support to clients based on their individual needs.
* Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, days out in the community, and medication management.
* Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Follow care plans and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar support worker role.
* Full UK driving license.
* Registration with Social Care Wales.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
Shifts and Pay:
* 08:00 am to 8:30 pm.
* 2 week rota; 4 days one week, 3 days the next week.
* £11.44 p/h
