On behalf of our busy FOOD PRODUCTION client, we are looking for an experienced Weekend Production CHEF.
Location: Redditch
Pay: £12.61ph
Basis: Temp to Perm
Shifts: WEEKEND only, Sat and Sun 05:00 - 17:00
Day to day duties:
* Responsible for all ingredients which are stored in prep area, ensuring first in first out rotation of ingredients.
* Cooking of marinades, mousses, and mixes to company standard operating procedures.
* Completion of Critical Control Point (CCP) checks as per company standard operating procedures.
* Segregation of allergen & non-allergen ingredients as per company delivered training.
* Organise trials with NPD department.
* Filling-in appropriate/relevant paperwork.
* Follow recipe instructions.
* Liaise with other members of the prep team in order to complete role effectively; share issues such as delays, ingredient shortages, and equipment issues quickly to Line Manager.
You as a person:
To be signed off as a fully competent Production Chef, you need to complete trainings (as a minimum) which are provided on site.
Must be fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing to fulfil all aspects of the role.
