Job Description:
Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.
KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.
KBR is looking to recruit Building Surveyors (Condition) x5 on 12-month contracts. These roles are nationally based.

Purpose of the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Technical Lead, you will predominantly be in the field surveying the client’s estate, managing a program of surveys capturing the condition of buildings and assets.
Core Responsibilities:
* Carry out condition structural surveys on building fabric in various types of properties.
* Assess the likelihood and extent of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in buildings.
* Maintain accurate records of all site visits, including scheduled and attended surveys.
* Potentially capture asset data and their attributes on mobile devices (e.g., iPad) using Mobiess software.
* Provide advice to the client on asset replacement of building elements and systems.
* Attend project meetings and participate in working groups or departmental meetings as required.
* Assess asset condition quickly and reasonably without intrusive or invasive inspections.
* Identify critical plant equipment for site operations.
* Update systems with data to generate accurate reports for the client.
* Perform ad-hoc duties as necessary.
Skills - Essential:
* Proven experience in building condition surveys and structural assessments.
* Knowledge of RAAC structural surveys.
* Experience with mobile data capture and reporting tools.
* Experience working with commercial or government asset portfolios, including infrastructure.
* Teamwork skills.
* Interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
* IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Attention to detail.
Skills - Desirable:
* Experience in planning work programs and lifecycle management.
* Ability to record M&E asset and fabric condition accurately.
* Knowledge of asset maintenance requirements.
* Experience working in secure environments.
* Knowledge of KyKloud and/or Mobiess software (training available).
* Further knowledge of RAAC structural surveys.
Qualifications - Essential:
* Bachelor’s degree in building surveying or an RICS-accredited degree.
* Eligibility for security clearance levels, including Enhanced DBS, CTC, SC, BPSS, and CTC clearances.
