Position Summary: The purpose of this job is to oversee the strategic positioning, the value proposition and the go to market of our BIOBALL® and Identifications solutions for the industrial pharmaceutical and food applications in the Americas region. This includes the management of the solutions (instruments, reagents, software…) and services related to microbial ID (VITEK 2® COMPACT, API®, PREVI® Color, VITEK EXPRESS…) and reference materials for quality control (BIOBALL®) for the Industry business. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and facilitate an industry marketing plan for Americas that will enhance BIOMERIEUX’s image and position within the identification and reference material QC business Support Sales in meeting or exceeding the market or specific segment revenue targets and growth objectives with targeted marketing activities. Supervise and define Market research activities related to the successful implementation of the Marketing Plans. Help maintain business relationships with key contacts for identification business and reference materials within the America’s Industry. Manage or lead the marketing processes for the reference materials and identification solutions and services. Ensure marketing support and deployment of our standardized reference materials and identification offer that includes Instruments, Software, Reagents and Services for the America’s Industrial market. Identify growth potential and key segments that correspond to the strategic objective in the Americas region in order to contribute to the marketing and commercial objective for the Region. Create marketing tools for the Region in order to demonstrate the value proposition. Develop new business models in conjunction with cross functional internal and external teams in order to answer new market needs. Elaborate communication strategy related to reference materials for quality control and identification testing for Industry clients in the Region Build regional Go to Market strategy for reference materials as well as identification services and solutions in the region and prepare launches with local team. Studies and Experience: BS in a Science / Business related field. MBA is desirable although not required. Experience in microbiology is a plus Skills and Qualifications: Marketing specialization is highly desirable. Knowledge of the Pharma/Biopharmaceutical/Food Environment Full Professional Proficiency in English required. Proficiency in Spanish is desirable. Must have good organization, people, and communication skills. Have the ability to work efficiently and effectively and lead by example. Have the capacity to manage complexity. Profound understanding of how to develop a Marketing Plan and how to implement it Knowledge of the BIOMERIEUX Industry product line is a plus.
