Resident Liaison Officer - Letchworth
Rate: £18.59 ph Umbrella PAYE
Contract: 4 month temp contract, with possibility of extension
Requirements: Must have driving licence and access to own vehicle
We are currently seeking a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer to work with our leading main contractor in the social housing sector, operating on a planned maintenance project across the Letchworth area. Based on site, you will be a vital link between the site team, residents, and clients. You will be working on a SHDF retrofit planned maintenance social housing project, so prior knowledge of this is required.
The role of Resident Liaison Officer is to successfully facilitate communication between the site team, client, and the residents, both verbally and in writing, to establish positive relationships. The primary objective is to ensure that all parties are kept informed of the required works, allowing the maintenance and construction work to be carried out with ease, as well as fielding any queries or complaints from the residents.
As Resident Liaison Officer, you will be working on a project which involves planned maintenance refurbishments on social housing properties across Letchworth, where you will be accountable for:
1. Keeping residents informed about project progress, communicating updates and any alterations to the schedule.
2. Serving as the primary contact point, delivering a courteous and flexible service to both residents and site staff.
3. Resolving issues, booking appointments, managing schedules, and addressing complaints by coordinating with all relevant parties.
4. Fostering positive relationships with residents, aiming for high client satisfaction. Handling any complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
5. Ensuring a seamless workflow with minimal disruption during the project.
6. Providing assistance with Property Condition Audits with residents for each property on the project before any work can go ahead.
7. Maintaining meticulous records, adhering to company policies, and safeguarding residents' contact information with utmost confidentiality.
The successful applicant for the role of Resident Liaison Officer will share our professional, personable, and conscientious values, and will possess the following skills/experience:
1. Exceptional communication and people skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
2. Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) is desirable (6-12 months +).
3. Reliable, good timekeeping, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
4. Ambitious, innovative, and self-motivated.
5. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
6. Must have driving license and access to a vehicle.
