Global Mobility Assistant (12 month FTC)
Base Location: Watford

Why Join KPMG as Senior Global Mobility Assistant
KPMG's Global Mobility team supports the talent strategy by facilitating and managing assignments all over the world. Working as a pro-active member of the team you will provide full assignment lifecycle advisory support to business stakeholders and our assignees directly. You will have a consultative approach and be able to demonstrate a highly organised and efficient approach. The role is challenging and exceptionally diverse and you will possess and further develop a wide range of technical and professional skills.
What will you be doing?
1. Working closely with functional business leaders, the wider team, and overseas colleagues you will support our talent to achieve their global mobility ambitions.
2. Following detailed process flow and local work instructions to support the administration of the full assignment lifecycle.
3. Deal with international assignment application forms, updating systems and supporting queries.
4. Manage the administration of all the on-boarding for our assignees coming inbound to the UK and returning assignees and the departure arrangements for all of our outbound assignees.
5. Communicate with all relevant parties throughout the on-boarding and departure process including overseas colleagues, third party providers, payroll, etc.
6. Initiate services of third party providers relocation partners, temporary accommodation, immigration providers, tax services, etc.
7. Ensure all compliance checks are carried out effectively and correctly including right to work checks.
8. Maintain up-to-date databases Success Factors, Link Enterprise, Excel.
9. Produce assignment documentation and ad hoc letters.
10. Post assignment opportunity vacancies on the Global Portal.
11. Maintain up-to-date assignment folders.
12. Complete all required tracking and update files on the shared drive for all new assignees.
13. Review and process invoices against quotations/policy/terms and conditions to ensure figures are correct and liaise with third party vendors.
What will you need to do it?
1. Able to demonstrate some previous experience working within the field of international assignments or global mobility or legal, immigration or an HR environment.
2. You will be well organised, a strong communicator, able to prioritise and work under pressure, and have motivated approach to self-learning and self-development.
3. You will possess good interpersonal skills as you will be working with assignees and senior stakeholders on a day-to-day basis.
4. Good IT skills which can support assignment tracking especially Excel.
5. The ability to work on your own initiative but also contribute to a high performing team.
