Specialty Personal Assistant - Clinical Immunology and Allergy

We are recruiting to a part-time, fixed-term position as Specialty Pathway Assistant in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at NUH.
You will be an enthusiastic and conscientious team player, willing to provide cover for other specialities within Clinical Services as required.
You must be able to work under pressure, possess excellent written and verbal skills, and demonstrate strong planning, time-management, and organisational skills. An innovative mindset and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively are essential. A clear understanding of confidentiality issues is also required. Previous NHS experience in a similar role, a good level of education, and familiarity with various IT systems (such as NotIS or Medway PAS) are preferred. Competence in Microsoft Office packages is essential.

Main duties of the job
Working as part of a team, the post-holder will support the provision of a comprehensive PA, secretarial, and administrative service to the clinical team of Consultants and Specialist Nurses. Duties will primarily include consultant diary management, word processing clinical and non-clinical letters, clinic maintenance, taking minutes, dealing with incoming mail and results, communicating with patients and staff, and supporting and mentoring new staff.
