HR Manager £45,000 per annum Monday - Friday / General Office Hours Wrexham Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to take full ownership of our client’s HR function, reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with company Directors. In this critical leadership role, you will design and implement HR strategies, support operational leaders, and ensure our client’s people agenda aligns with business goals. You’ll shape policies, lead HR initiatives, and help build an even stronger workplace culture. Performance Objectives HR Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the company’s business goals. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on people-related issues. Policy Development & Compliance: Design and implement HR policies, ensuring compliance with UK employment law. Regularly review and update the employee handbook and related documentation. Talent Management: Lead recruitment efforts, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession planning. Develop performance management frameworks and drive employee development. Employee Relations & Culture: Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives. Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and handle disciplinary matters. Learning & Development: Design training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth. HR Operations: Oversee payroll coordination, HRIS management, and benefits administration. Provide data-driven HR reporting and analysis to inform business decisions. Person Specification CIPD Level 7 Certification (or equivalent). Proven experience in a senior HR role, ideally within a multi-site organization. In-depth knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practices, and compliance. Experience managing employee relations, performance management, and L&D programs. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organisation. Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
