Internal Training and Development Officer
Kids Planet Day Nurseries provide the highest standard of nursery care and education across our settings within a unique environment in which children are actively encouraged to explore, learn and interact with others.
With the ongoing growth of Kids Planet, we are delighted to announce we are looking to grow our Internal Training and Development Team.
The purpose of this role is to effectively support internal teams across the group with a wide range of training including Safeguarding, EYFS, Birth to Five, Supporting Feelings & Behaviour, our Connect and iConnect online systems and mor
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
* Assess and support teams across Kids Planet in liaison with our Operations and Quality Department, and Academy where appropriate
* Delivery of pertinent engaging and effective training sessions to our teams through online, face to face, group and 1:1 sessions
* Development and creation of content on our new learning platform/software
* Produce relevant high-quality training materials for in-house courses
* Ensure that statutory training requirements are met
* Observing practice and measuring the impact of training
* Design and delivery of relevant non-accredited CPD courses
* Close liaison with Nursery Managers/Area Managers to ensure training is effective
The ideal applicant will possess:
* Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
* Experience of designing/ delivering training
* Excellent ICT and communication skills are essential
* Hold solid occupational competency within Early Years Childcare
* Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle

The role is field based but will require significant amounts of travel and occasional overnight stays away from home. The role holder is required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business; this will include some evening or weekend work to support improvement, for example, to deliver evening training sessions
