If so, our client, a manufacturer of equipment for the plastics industry, is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer. Covering the southeast of England, the role will involve servicing and installation of equipment and projects, supporting various products and automation equipment in house and at customer sites.

Job Description
Performing installation, servicing, and commissioning of automation equipment at customer sites and in-house, ensuring high standards of delivery.
Supporting the service team by diagnosing faults, rectifying issues, and managing 24/7 on-call service rotations.
Reporting daily and weekly on tasks completed, maintaining accurate records, and updating CRM project management systems.
Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Identifying opportunities for technical skill enhancement and suggesting areas for customer and product improvements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Strong electrical, mechanical, and fault-finding repair skills, with expertise in PLC/Automation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and multi-phase systems.
City & Guilds Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering (or similar)
Current Driving License without disqualification and UK or EU Passport
Excellent ICT skills and use of Microsoft Office
