Location: B26, Birmingham
Pay Scale: £95 - £105 per day
Duration: February 2025 - July 2025 (with potential to go permanent)
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Long Term Futures Recruitment is thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in B26. This rewarding role involves providing personalised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they have the tools and encouragement to achieve their best.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
- Assist in delivering individualised learning plans tailored to students' needs.
- Support students' social, emotional, and academic development in the classroom and during interventions.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes confidence and independence.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to monitor progress and address any challenges effectively.
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or have relevant experience in a similar role.
- Have experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
- Be proactive in adapting activities to suit a variety of learning styles and abilities.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping children overcome barriers to learning.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
