New Directions are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term position at a Primary School in Sevenoaks.
The school is in a lovely area and is known for its commitment to its core values and excellent standard of teaching, having most recently awarded a "good" Ofsted rating.
The school is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support its Early Years Class - a level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers with classroom activities and provide essential support to students across different subjects.
* Work with small groups or individual students, offering personalised attention to help meet their learning needs.
* Help manage classroom behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment.
* Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEND) to ensure inclusively and engagement in the classroom.
* Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources.
* Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and help identify areas for improvement.
What We're Looking For:
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational growth.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility and adaptability in supporting different subjects and age groups.
* Prior experience working in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
