Change Communications Lead – 12 month FTC
Chiswick, London – Hybrid working 1-2 days a week on site.
About the role
As the Change Communications Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring successful change implementation. Reporting into the Head of Change Communications, you will lead the planning, shaping, and delivery of communication supporting the successful roll-out and adoption of change programmes across BSI.
You will bring experienced strategic thinking to change projects and programmes, showcasing best practice and championing the role of communications and engagement in delivering and embedding change.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and delivery of change communication strategies with supporting communications tactical delivery, aligning them to organisational goals.
2. Collaborate with wider project/programme teams, define the core narrative and key messaging ensuring a consistency and clarity of messaging across various channels.
3. Lead the development of change communication campaigns, utilizing a mix of communication channels.
4. Provide strategic counsel and coaching to senior leaders and project sponsors, enabling clear change messaging and engagement with colleagues and stakeholders.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change communications initiatives, analysing metrics and feedback to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders, providing timely and accurate communications of change-related updates.
7. Manage and collaborate with a team of Change Communication professionals, providing guidance, support and fostering their professional growth.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
8. Extensive experience within Change Communications and engagement.
9. Demonstrable line management experience.
10. High level of strategic thinking and management within Change Communications.
11. Great experience across a variety of channels (mail chimp, share point, teams, viva engage etc).
12. Experience adapting communications to varying audiences.
13. Previous experience in culture and behavioral change would be highly beneficial.
