As a Back of House Supervisor at St Pancras Renaissance you will ensure the smooth operation of kitchen hygiene standards and providing supervision to the stewarding team.
Responsibilities:
* To adhere to and assist in the compliance of Health and Safety e.g. COSHH & Risk Assessments.
* Ensure that all Fire regulations are maintained by making sure that the Fire Exits are not blocked.
* Be familiar with and practice the safe handling, care and storage of all equipment.
* To ensure that all maintenance issues have been recorded correctly, and that all mechanical and manual equipment are used as instructed.
* Report any machine defects to the maintenance team and ensures that the correct action is taken.
Cleanliness & Food Safety:
* To ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times and supervise Kitchen Stewarding team to ensure standards are adhered to
* Fridge temperature controls where required
* Adhering to delivery temperatures legislation.
* Cellar management and cleanliness
* Follow the cleaning schedules and keeps work areas clean and sanitary.
* To react in areas that require immediate attention and ensuring that all food is always presented to the highest possible standards.
* Understands and complies with loss prevention policies and procedures.
* Adheres to all standards, policies, and procedures (Brand Standards SOPs, LSOPs, etc.)
* Supervise team to keep dishwasher areas clean and hygienic at all times and clean dishwasher at end of each shift
* Supervise team to keep kitchens and back of house kitchen areas clean and tidy at all times in accordance with Brand Standard regulations.
