Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a Financial Controller role with a large organisation based in Swindon. This is a permanent full-time role offering up to 2 days working from home and would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 5 years PQE. The role The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing a large team responsible for group reporting, ensuring deadlines are met and adhered to. This role would suit someone with previous leadership experience in a medium to large business working to tight deadlines, seeking a varied role. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting deadlines. Analysing management accounts. Liaising with auditors. Managing a team of 5-10. Business partnering with internal stakeholders. Continuous development of systems and processes. Profile The successful candidate will have the following skills/attributes: ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 5 years PQE. Proven leadership experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong excel skills (macro level would be an advantage). Experience of auditing or working in a plc or blue chip organisation.
