About The Role:
You will be a key player in the success of delivering the new OCS UK PMO. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver effective business change to the way we run our business and deliver our services.
You will be responsible for assessing and validating business activities to determine if a solution has fulfilled the requirements. Using sophisticated methods, metrics and tools to achieve the business benefits and corporate goals in areas such as requirements gathering, validation, process mapping and process optimisation across all sectors within the UK.
You will bridge the gap between the business requirements elicited from users and stakeholders, the functional and business requirements and processes are translated into formats suitable for all your stakeholders including solution architects and developers from which specifications, design and application configurations will be built.
You will need to have excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, presentation and documentation skills.
You will be allocated to various projects across the portfolio, supporting the implementation various operational changes across our UK business. Therefore, previous experience of operational change is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Managing Project delivery and Governance in line with project deliverables, benefits and promises and key milestones (When required).
2. Delivery of Project and Governance in line with industry best practice and principles (APM/P2/P2A).
3. Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing requirements.
4. Eliciting, translating, simplifying and prioritising requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
5. Master operational business process modelling, traceability and quality management techniques.
6. Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.
7. Assisting with business case production.
8. Assisting with planning and monitoring.
9. Support all business activities within the end to end project delivery such as show and tells, workshops, UAT and training.
10. Contributing to the business analysis ways of working and quality standards that all business analysts within the team adopt.
11. Manage all stakeholder groups across the business to support project outcomes by facilitating meetings and workshops.
12. Ownership of requirements gathering, process mapping, data flows and all other business analysis deliverables.
13. Creation of business requirements documents, functional specification documents and traceability matrices.
14. Providing the functional analysis to enable the IT landscape to be integrated.
About You:
1. Project management Qualifications - APM / P2 / P2A Practitioner Level Certification.
2. Relevant professional qualifications, such as ISEB Business Analysis Certifications.
3. Facilities Management qualifications are desirable.
4. Business Change Project delivery & Stakeholder Governance.
5. Business Analyst experience in a business environment and IT projects.
6. A proven track record of delivering successful business analysis within parallel projects.
7. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in requirement gathering processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle.
8. Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency, including MS Office Suite and ARIS.
9. Able to demonstrate basic understanding of the deployed technologies across the enterprise and of multiple system platforms.
10. Demonstrable strong written, presentation, communication and negotiation skills and can articulate complex solutions.
11. Experience of varied scales of operational change implementations.
12. Experience of complex IT implementations with multiple integration points to external applications.
