We are currently recruiting for an Income Officer for our public sector client initially for 6 months.
The post holder will support the co-ordination and delivery of income collection and recovery services, including estate-based activity. The post holder will be responsible for the collection of debt within a specific area, in line with the Council's recovery process, other policies and procedures, ensuring that tenants are aware of their responsibilities to pay their rent regularly, working supportively and pro-actively with the aim of sustaining tenancies.
We are looking for strong communicators with a background working in the Public Sector or Housing Associations.
The ideal Rent and Income Officer will:
1. Office/patch based role - car user and access to vehicle essential
2. Have experience of taking cases to court, court paperwork preparation and case presentation
3. Have income officer experience
4. Have personal collections experience/credit control
5. Have experience of dealing with the general public
6. Possess excellent customer service skills
