Solar Business Development Manager - Commercial Projects
Location: Lincolnshire
Salary: £40k - £45k pa basic + car + commission (realistic OTE £80k-£100k)

The company provides excellent opportunities for career advancement for the right candidate. They are primarily looking for someone with a proven track record of B2B sales of solar PV systems to commercial clients within Education, Agriculture, and Industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and execute a well-defined sales strategy for selling the company's renewable products to new business customers across the North.
2. Accountable for leading sales opportunities, including driving the sales process from plan to close, achieving growth and hitting sales targets, and revenue objectives for new business.
3. Grow and manage a pipeline of opportunities, reporting to management on a regular basis a view of pipeline, forecasting, and actions to achieve closure.
4. Negotiate and secure client contracts.
5. Qualify opportunities through early analysis by collecting data and detailed information from customers.
6. Provide clients insight back to the business to help develop the company's proposition to the marketplace.
Requirements:
1. Must have field sales experience in the commercial solar market - ideally 3 years +.
2. Experience within some or all of the following sectors is advantageous: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Retail and Industrial Facilities, Education (Schools & Colleges).
3. Solid and verifiable track record of overachievement and successfully growing market share.
4. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the product line and convey advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp terms.
5. Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting, and closing deals.
6. Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
7. Demonstrated success in operating effectively in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, complex, rapid growth environment.
8. A distinct customer service focus.
9. Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
10. A hungry go-getter with a strong can-do attitude.
11. An energetic, highly motivated, and driven person.
