Commercial accountant

Commercial Accountant | Tonbridge | £50,000We are pleased to support our manufacturing client in the recruitment of aCommercial Accountant to join their busy team in a newly created role. You will support the finance team and be confident speaking with all levels of stakeholder. The role offers hybrid working and the ideal candidate will have experience working in the manufacturing industry.

Role responsibilities:

* Collaborate with the Financial Director to achieve the financial targets and objectives.

* Assist with monthly financial reviews for stakeholders.

* Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.

* Provide analytical support and insight on the manufacturing performance to both

Finance and Operations.

* Manage product costings to facilitateanalysis and review of stock management i.e. product life cycles, obsolete items etc.

* Analysis of cost base to identifypotential cost savings.

* Measure and analyse operational efficiencies.

* Support the Purchasing Manager with contract reviews including cost analysis.

* Assist operations with stock cycle counts and updating of ERP system.

* Assist the Accounts Payable department with queries and invoice processing.
