Your Role as an SEN Teacher (SpLD Specialism): Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive lessons tailored to students with SpLD. Implement evidence-based interventions, including multisensory teaching techniques. Use assistive technology and adaptive resources to enhance learning experiences. Work closely with therapists, SENCOs, and parents to create and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Support students in developing confidence, literacy, numeracy, and independent learning skills. Foster a positive and structured learning environment that meets diverse student needs. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience as an SEN Teacher. ✅ Specialism in SpLD (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, or related learning needs). ✅ Knowledge of structured literacy interventions (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Sounds-Write, or similar approaches). ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and support students effectively. ✅ Experience in adaptive teaching methods and assistive technology. ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
