Our complex infrastructure team makes the biggest, most ambitious infrastructure projects happen, such as transforming the energy sector, supporting Britain’s transport network on High Speed 2, East Coast Digital Programme, Heathrow Airport, and more. We are looking for Risk Managers / Senior Risk Managers to work on our national portfolio of complex infrastructure projects. Experience in Risk Management on major construction, energy, or infrastructure projects, preferably with a professional qualification, is required.
Our projects range from £20m+ to £20Bn+ with diverse, high-profile clients across sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the successful delivery of risk management services, exceeding client expectations.
* Implement risk management activities to reduce exposure and uncertainty.
* Support development and implementation of risk management approaches for clients.
* Facilitate workshops and engage with project teams.
* Carry out risk analyses using recognized software/databases.
* Produce risk reports tailored to project needs.
* Support continuous improvement of risk management processes and tools.
* Assist in bids and proposals to secure new work.
* Engage in business development and profile-raising activities.
Requirements:
* A recognized diploma, degree, or equivalent experience in risk management.
* Experience in major infrastructure projects in sectors like Transportation, Energy, or Infrastructure.
* Competency in implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000, IRM, APM, including facilitating workshops, risk reviews, quantitative analysis, and using industry tools like ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, etc.
* Understanding of Value Management and integration with other project disciplines.
