Responsibilities: Provide on-going operational support including desktop operating systems, VMWare\Veeam server infrastructure, Windows Server 2019/2022, O365 environment Evaluate existing systems and design new systems to meet organisational needs Work closely with stakeholders and vendors to ensure good communication and successful project outcomes Identify opportunities to improve business processes and implement changes Train employees on new and upgraded systems Resolve technical issues and make modifications to the systems to meet user requirements adhering to IT frameworks Ensure company compliance and security processes are adhering to best practices which include GDPR, Cyber Essentials and ISO standards. Create and maintain documentation for systems, work processes, asset management, training and business requirements. Technical lead on projects with the role of designing and developing solutions for new IT projects Support of Alcatel\Lucent Call Centre VOIP Phone system Remote worker support and home worker Wi-Fi environments Manage Office relocations MDM Management Required Skills/Experience: 2 Years of experience in IT Systems Analyst role Excellent understanding of all aspects of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019 / 2022, Office 365. Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL. Good knowledge of IT Cyber Essentials, Cyber Security best practices, Internet content management, Anti-Virus and Firewall Support Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members and users. Effective team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments and mentor colleagues within the IT Team Commitment to understanding user needs and providing best possible solutions and support whilst ensuring solutions are aligned with company goals. Strong project management skills to oversee IT projects, design and present new ideas to key stakeholders and ensure user engagement Strong analytical thinking to evaluate complex systems and processes Experience as Technical Lead / 3rd Line Helpdesk Support agent Extensive experience being technical lead for VOIP Telephone systems. Experience with Alcatel would be beneficial. Good understanding of VMware and Veeam Solutions Personal Qualities: Flexible attitude, with a can-do approach, work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to work both independently with little supervision as well as in a team environment Ability to prioritise tasks, good organizational and communication skills. An ability to provide weekend cover and provide out of hours support on a rota basis. Enthusiastic and motivated with ability to rapidly learn new skills and grasp new concepts Qualifications: Preferred candidates will have a Microsoft Certified Professional certification or at least 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar support role. Experience working with Alcatel Telephony would be an advantage Driving licence and own transport is essential as this position will cover multiple sites. Please be aware that during the training period, first 3 months, you will be required to be on site 5 days a week. After this time the role will become hybrid on a rota with the rest of the team.
