Deputy Group Finance Manager Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic organisation? We're looking for an Deputy Group Finance Manager to support our Group Finance Manager and Senior Finance Team in delivering timely and accurate financial information across the company. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the transactional Finance Team, ensuring clarity in roles and achievement of KPIs. Financial Integrity: Oversee the accuracy and integrity of sales ledger, purchase ledger, and payroll data across all systems. Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between the Finance Department and other business areas, ensuring open communication and effective relationship management. Process Improvement: Regularly review finance systems and processes, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Data Management: Maintain and manage IT systems within the Finance Department, resolving any issues in a timely manner. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including KPIs and reconciliation of invoicing accounts, for Senior Management Team meetings. Compliance & Cost Control: Ensure sales, costs, and payroll are properly handled, accounted for, and reported in line with statutory requirements. What We're Looking For: Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Finance Department with strong expertise in Sage 50 Accounts and Payroll. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and influence a team to achieve objectives. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused approach. Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and high-volume data processing. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Flexibility to travel across the group's territory as required. Desirable Skills & Experience: AAT Level 2 or higher. Experience managing and improving accounting systems and procedures.
