What you need to do
Coordination of skills programmes:
* Support the effective planning of Skills Development initiatives by coordinating training sessions and workshops. Ensure accurate tracking and recording of attendance and completion data. Generate and analyse reports to provide insights and recommendations for programme improvement.
* Manage logistical aspects for skills programmes such as venue selection, facilitator check-in, data collection, room bookings, laptops, passes, feedback, and course uploads to the Learning Management System (LMS).
Administration and reporting:
* Provide General administrative and planning support to ensure the successful delivery of skills development function.
* Provide a summary of skills development performance data, live/periodic/quarterly/annual basis for both skills programmes and pathways.
* Manage the skills framework reporting platform and general operations of the platform.
* Measure the success of the skills framework through key performance indicators (KPIs) and regular reviews.
Stakeholder management:
* Support learning operations with payment to third party suppliers.
* Liaise with HRS and learning operations to ensure all requests for data for new and existing programmes are delivered within the required timescales.
* Communicate with external providers regarding coordination of Skills Programmes.
Facilitation and delivery:
* Support (where required) the delivery of collective and social learning for bakery modules using innovative virtual and face to face delivery.
* Support with the delivery of early careers inductions.
What you need to know and show
* Experience in an early career and/or apprenticeship training coordinator role (essential).
* Project management techniques (desirable).
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, presenting data and insights to support continuous improvement.
* Sets priorities without guidance or direction, and can manage workload and conflicting priorities.
* A strong team player with excellent communication skills, working collaboratively across the team and function.
* Good IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential).
What decisions I can make
* Decide on the scheduling and organisation of training sessions and workshops, including selecting venues and coordinating logistics.
* Determine the allocation of resources and support needed for the effective delivery of skills development initiatives.
* Make decisions on the methods and tools used for tracking and recording attendance and completion data.
* Determining when to escalate risks and issues identified within skills programmes and skill pathways projects.
