SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Resource Provision)
Dunbar Education are working on behalf of an ARP to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of their students with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The child has moderate Learning Difficulties and displays some signs of challenging behaviour.
The role involves acting as a bridge between the student and the teacher, ensuring that the student is learning, behaving, and safeguarded.
This is a full-time, long-term position for the entire 2024/25 academic year, requiring you to work from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on-site during term time.
The school is located a 10-minute walk from the local train station, which is accessible on the underground, and has on-site parking available.
As you will be working with a vulnerable student, it is essential to possess both the experience and character to support this student appropriately. Vetting will be conducted to ensure you are a suitable fit.
