Casual Academy Doctor Business : Birmingham City Football Club Location : Knighthead Performance Centre Reports to : Lead Academy Doctor and Head of Academy Physiotherapy and Medical Department : Academy Physiotherapy and Medical Join Our Team Birmingham City Football Club is seeking a dedicated and experienced Casual Academy Doctor to join our Academy Physiotherapy and Medical Department. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver elite medical service provision to our Academy players and be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence. As the Casual Academy Doctor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our Academy players. You will implement our medical strategy across all phases, provide match day medical cover, and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to enhance player performance and support their development. Key Responsibilities Medical Care : Assess and manage injuries and illnesses of Academy players. Match Day Support : Provide medical cover for Academy fixtures. Documentation : Maintain detailed medical records using Kitman Labs. Collaboration : Work with physiotherapists and other support staff to provide integrated performance enhancement. Governance and Compliance : Adhere to Clinical Governance and Club policies, including safeguarding and health and safety protocols. Why Join Us?
