Do you want to support individuals by matching them with the perfect Shared Lives Carer to provide family and community life? Due to the ongoing success of the Shared Live Scheme, we are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the team to support the continual growth of the service. Using a person-centred approach, the role will combine administrative support with working in the community. You will be required to support with our duty phone calls, monitoring and answering our duty emails inbox and dealing with new referrals to our scheme. You will support to assess, recruit and train people to become Shared Lives Carers, who will be matched to vulnerable people who need support, including processing DBS checks, obtaining references and assisting managers with the recruitment of Shared Lives Carers. Part of the role will see you out in the community, where you will assist with the supporting, monitoring and reviewing of support plans to ensure individuals are matched with the perfect carer for the best community life.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills (written and spoken)
* A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
* This job involves travelling to different places across Surrey to Shared Lives Carers and the people they support. If you are an applicant with a disability and cannot drive, we will discuss reasonable adjustments.
Hours : Part-time - 22.5 hours per week (working pattern to be discussed based on candidate availability)
Salary : £28450 - £29970 per annum, pro-rata (Annual Salary based on 22.5 hours a week - £17070 - £17982) Do you want to make a difference to someone's life?
