Job Description:
This is an opportunity for a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join a new and growing company working on Analog AI accelerator projects which utilize Analog processing-in-memory to expedite neural network workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design of RRAM-based computational memory arrays and sub-arrays.
2. Working with system-level architects to ensure specifications are adhered to.
3. Assist in creating high-performance abstract models of the memory arrays.
4. Stay abreast of recent advancements in compute-in-memory approaches to AI acceleration.
5. Play a vital role in the company's relations with external partners who supply memory technologies.
The ideal candidate will have experience with at least one type of memory used for Analog level storage, preferably RRAM, and its application in crossbar arrays for computational purposes. However, someone without memory experience but with an interest in this area will be considered.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential to interface effectively with system architects, mixed-signal modelers, and external technology partners. A degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
