Our client, a global pioneer in sustainable aviation, is building technology to change the way the world travels. They are combining the very best talent from Aerospace, Formula 1, and Automotive to develop a cutting-edge electric aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Aircraft Technicians to join their team in Kemble, Gloucestershire.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Carrying out the fitting of electrical/avionic aircraft components.
2. Carrying out the build, testing, and commissioning of sub-assemblies and full aircraft systems, including low and high voltage electrical and mechanical systems, as well as providing support for aircraft systems test and flight test activities.
3. Ensuring all appropriate paperwork or recording is completed and maintained (job cards, tech logs, tech library, ERP system entries).
4. Maintaining a high standard of tool cleanliness and control throughout the workshop assembly areas, labs, and machine rooms, and maintaining exemplary FOD prevention methods throughout.
Shift Pattern:
1. Early/Late shift pattern - weekly rotation
2. 06:00-14:30
3. 14:00-22:00
Key Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
1. BTEC National Certificate in Aerospace Engineering or higher.
2. Relevant commercial aircraft apprenticeship or military equivalent.
3. Minimum 2-5 years' aircraft build/production experience.
4. Full UK driving licence.
