We're partnering with a business that is a raging success already. It has a high profit margin and has experienced 20% year on year growth pretty much since its inception. It has an exceptionally high customer retention rate, and could keep growing.
It is remarkable that they have generated this success without an effective marketing team.
Recently taken over by private equity investment, the ambition is to double in size over the next few years, and scale by pulling the growth levels of performance marketing, digital marketing, brand development, and optimising the ecommerce website.
The Role
This role will take marketing from near ground zero, taking an embryonic agency laden set up, and use scaling budgets to create a revenue generating powerhouse.
* Pull levers in performance marketing, specifically in paid search and paid social
* Building an SEO strategy to drive traffic to the website
* Manage teams responsible for improving the buying journey on the website
* Drive direct sales through different levels
* Improve the performance of the marketing team, coaching and developing them
* Build CRM programme from scratch
* Develop the brand - work on a refresh, and carving out a niche
You?
* Ambitious - You have to have that bit between your teeth as you're walking in to very little in place except a junior marketing team to mould and develop
* Ecommerce experience - MUST have worked with an ecommerce business model, selling either B2C or B2B, or both!
* Demonstrable leadership - There must be evidence of building a scaling, revenue generating marketing function as either the number 2 at a Senior Manager level, or a Head of/Director
