AAK International (Hull) AAK International is in the heart of an area enjoying significant redevelopment and investment. We operate the UK’s largest refinery for edible oils and fats at our King George Dock site, and supply ingredients and finished products to businesses in the food manufacturing, baking, foodservice, and retail sectors. About the role AAK are seeking to appoint a Raw Materials Scheduler to work as part of the Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling stock movements on site and external warehousing. Order raw material components in line with forecast. Responsibilities To order raw material components to meet the short/medium term production requirements across all production areas in line with forecast. Control stock movements into the site and external warehousing whilst working to strict storage constraints, including oil movements from AAK Europe. Work alongside the Production Planners and facilitate where possible, fluctuations in demand against production forecasts. Highlight and raise supplier service issues to ensure timely component supply Work closely with the warehouse and procurement department to chase deliveries, outstanding orders, collections and returns whilst keeping all system data accurate. Analysing usage trends vs forecast. Reporting on findings. Develop and work with suppliers to determine a good working relationship Highlighting any impending stock outs. Weekly report to be issued. SAP master data to be maintained and reviewed. To develop and improve SAP systems. About you The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience; Experience working within a similar role. SAP experience is desirable. Experience of customs procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to meet deadlines, time manage and prioritise workloads. Problem solving skills. Computer literate.
