Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer to join our team at MacGregor Black, partnering with a leading manufacturing business based in Preston.
The successful candidate will be passionate about developing manufacturing processes and have a proven track record of implementing projects within the FMCG industry.
This is a permanent role that requires collaboration with various teams to deliver safe, effective, and efficient service delivery on the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Finance Business Partner to establish comprehensive process and controls for developing project financials for approval.
* Assist the senior project team in implementing the engineering strategy and framework for the assigned project.
* Manage materials, equipment, and labour within designated budget and resources.
* Communicate all systems, design information, procedures, and quality systems effectively.
* Provide technical support to project delivery teams by reviewing and verifying their work.
* Lead or assist with project assurance by conducting audits and holding regular meetings with project teams.
Requirements:
* HND/BEng or equivalent qualification
* Strong maintenance/engineering background
* Experience with projects in an FMCG environment
