The key to this role is to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care by ensuring clinical accuracy and patient safety. Services will include, the New Medicine Service, Pharmacy Contraception Service, Discharge medicines service, Pharmacy First Service and any new services we introduce.

What you’ll be doing?
Demonstrate competence in providing pharmacy services by means of an assessment process prior to engagement
Deliver an excellent patient experience through providing pharmacy services
Comply with all SOPs, and legal, ethical, and professional standards for the pharmacy services
Ensure all Internal and External training is completed withing the time frame specified
Liaise with the services team, the core team and the Superintendent Pharmacist’s team
Manage any patient concerns and promptly raise any issues
Who are we looking for?
Previous experience of providing pharmacy services, including the New Medicine Service, Discharge Medicines Service & Pharmacy Contraception Service
Up to date training and accreditation, and compliant with GPhC and NHS England standards
Familiar with all legal, ethical and professional requirements for the role
Safeguarding training
Self-motivated and self-disciplined working practices
Highly responsible, with a high degree of integrity
Degree in Pharmacy
GPhC registered
NMS trained and accredited, and experienced
Personal professional Indemnity insurance must be in place at start date to cover National Pharmacy services (DMS, PCS, Pharmacy First, NMS)
