Working Mobile Supervisor.
MJM currently have a new opportunity for a Working Mobile Supervisor to join their friendly team. The role will involve visiting sites located in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, and the Bristol area.
This is a mobile 'hands-on' cleaning role which will see you on the road most days visiting a number of client sites throughout the day. This role would see you not only leading from the front by executing extremely high cleaning and customer service standards, but you will also assist the office staff in managerial duties when needed. You must be a "can-do, will-do" personality with a pro-active, customer-focused mentality. Flying the flag in terms of customer engagement and satisfaction is a key part of this role and being a solution-finding person will definitely stand you in good stead for this role.
Hours
25+ Hours per week
Monday - Friday
However, some weekend work may be required to cover sickness and holidays.
Job Summary
The Mobile Supervisor plays an essential role in overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring all client cleans go ahead, production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills to effectively supervise and manage a diverse team, fostering a productive work environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
What you will be doing?
1. You will be the first point of contact for covering holidays. This will include either arranging other staff to clean or, in the event no one is available, you will be required to go out and help clean at sites.
2. You will work closely with the Office to manage all aspects of the contracts with customers, handling any queries that arise and finding solutions.
3. You will assist the Document Control Manager with any employee issues where necessary.
4. Occasional general cleaning duties to be carried out in line with our quality standards, including but not limited to; dusting, mopping, hoovering, emptying bins, and deep cleans.
5. Carry out vehicle handovers to staff when required.
6. Conduct attendance review meetings with staff when needed.
7. Carry out interviews for new cleaning staff.
8. Conduct trial clean interviews when hiring new recruits when needed.
9. You will be involved in training our new starters and existing cleaning team.
10. Any ad-hoc duties that arise due to the needs of the business.
11. Supervise and manage all cleaning staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
12. Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve optimal performance levels.
13. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
14. Conduct regular spot checks on all cleans, ensuring the client is receiving the highest standards.
15. Ensure you are communicating with the office to outline any issues that may arise.
16. Cover staff absences and holidays.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.
2. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving the highest standards.
Company Car and Mobile Provided
1. A valid clean driver's license is essential for this role and due to insurance purposes, you must be aged 25 and over.
2. Fuel card provided with a set amount each week.
