Daily Rate: £90 - £105

Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Long Term Futures is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Behaviour Mentor to join a friendly mainstream primary school in the heart of Oldbury. In this fulfilling role, you will provide personalised one-on-one support to a pupil with Autism, helping them succeed both academically and socially. This long-term position offers excellent potential to transition into a permanent role for the ideal candidate.
The school are looking for:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or an equivalent certification.
- Experience working with SEN pupils in an educational environment.
- Experience supporting children in a Primary school setting.
- Additional CPD, such as TeamTeach or Positive Behaviour Management, is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with experience in non-verbal techniques like Makaton or PECS being a significant advantage.
- Expertise in delivering personalised support to SEN pupils in one-to-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
