Field Service Engineer - Belfast Based - Covering NI - Salary up to £45000 Your New Company Our client provides specialist servicing within their sector of expertise. Your New Role Whilst on shift your core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Servicing and repair of Valves, Actuators, Pumps and Screens both on site and in our workshop Installation and commissioning of Valves, Actuators, Pumps and Screens Troubleshooting and warranty work on site or in the workshop Carry out inspections and prepare Asset Condition Reports Provide Risk Assessment and Method Statements in advance of commencing work on site Assembly and set up of new equipment either in our workshop or on site Provide demos / training to customer staff Using our Work Pal system to provide service, commissioning, and asset reports for customers Using Work pal system to advise of job completion Complete time sheets weekly for payroll & costing purposes Work in accordance with Company and Client Health and Safety rules Provide our sales department with site assessment and costings to enable us to quote for projects. Prior to site visit ensure as far as possible you have all the correct equipment, tools etc. to ensure a time-efficient job Ensure the Sales departments are consulted and are involved in a solution when a job runs into commercial or technical difficulties Make cost-effective travel, hotel and subsistence arrangements Undertake other duties for the Company when required Participate fully in any of the company's projects and policies When required liaise with Sales Departments over Workshop repairs Maintain good level of communication with all Departments attending regular Service Meeting with Sales. Work in accordance with the ISO procedures You may not attend customer sites with alcohol or drugs in the bloodstream Maintain clean, tidy dress Must use protective clothing which is provided Company vehicle to be used as per guidelines. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this post it would be highly beneficial to have knowledge of a variety of pumps and ancillary equipment. x2 positions are currently available, x1 with electrical bias and x1 with mechanical bias. Candidates with a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification will be given preference. Any candidates with 17th/18th edition are highly desirable.
