Holidays: 25 days bank holidaysShorterm Group is currently seeking a skilled CNC/Manual Grinder to join a leading aerospace manufacturing company operating in an AS9100 Rev D environment. If you have experience in precision grinding and working to tight tolerances, this is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with excellent benefits.?? Key Responsibilities:Operate and set up Ultramat Easy Grinder, Surface Grinding, Honing, and Lapping machines.Adjust machine offsets and coordinate repeat manufacturing requirements.Work with High Tensile and Ultra High Tensile materials.Read and interpret Engineering Drawings and Route Cards accurately.Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment such as:- Micrometres (Metric & Imperial)- Groove Micrometres- Surface Testers- Bore Clocks- Air Gauges- Height Gauges- Plug Gauges- Comparators? Requirements:- Experience in CNC or Manual Grinding within a precision engineering environment.- Ability to work to tight tolerances and maintain high-quality standards on all materials.- Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards in high-volume batch production.- A proactive and team-oriented mindset, following company policies and procedures.- Ability to maintain a clean and organized working area.- Competency in completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.�?
