We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is a full-time position starting in January 2025, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on student's education and future.

Pay Rate : £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Secondary Maths.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and exam specifications.
Skills:
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Effective classroom and behaviour management.
* Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their potential.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
* Differentiate teaching methods to cater to diverse learning needs and abilities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources.
* Promote positive behaviour and uphold school policies to maintain a safe learning environment.
* Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and address concerns.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and school events as required.
