What the job involves As Deputy Manager (Residential Lead), you will be at the forefront of delivering the 'No Wrong Door and Supported Accommodation Services' Core Offers'. Your responsibilities include managing residential and supported accommodation services for complex young people, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children, and overseeing emergency placements. You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective care, support, and safeguarding, utilizing clinical specialist input in line with Core Assessments, Care Plans, and Pathway Plans. Your role involves operational management, driving a solution-focused culture, and ensuring best practices in adolescent care. You will maintain high levels of partnership working, manage complex plans and resources, and handle significant budgets. As a key decision-maker, you will oversee a range of services within a 24-hour environment. Additionally, you will deputize for the Registered Manager when required, ensuring compliance with national guidance and standards. You will oversee recruitment, training, and supervision, fostering a supportive work environment. Your role is crucial in keeping young people safe within their communities, with high-stakes decisions potentially impacting financial and long-term outcomes. Effective information management and communication will be vital, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders. A driver's license is essential for this role due to the need for travel and the 24/7 service coverage requirements. The work schedule will involve shifts between 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00.
