Account Manager Permanent Full time Salary Up to £35-40k OTE Based in Alfreton LAB. are working closely with a well-established, family run business, as we explore the market for an experienced Account Manager. You must come from a Construction, Waste Management or Aggregates and Muck Away background to be successful in this role. We are seeking someone who is a motivated and results-driven sales professional with proven, hands-on experience in a similar role. As an Account Manager you will play a key role in driving business growth, securing new clients, client retention and ensuring exceptional service delivery. For the right person this role could lead to growing and running the Sales Department as this company goes from strength to strength, therefore, we need someone who is ambitious The role: Identify and secure new business opportunities with a focus on waste operations. Build and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and business growth. Monitor pricing strategies to maximize margins and profitability. Oversee contract compliance, safety regulations, and asset utilization. Liaise across departments to meet customer needs, ensuring smooth coordination between transport, finance, and other teams. Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and maintain accurate pipeline management. What We're Looking For: Proven sales experience, ideally within the construction or waste industries. Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop professional quotations, tenders, and correspondence. Commercial awareness and a solution-based sales approach to meet customer needs. Full driving license and the ability to travel as needed. A positive attitude, resilience, and a drive to exceed expectations.
