We want you to work with us Red Kite View is a purpose-built young people's mental health hospital, providing inpatient care and support to families and young people from across West Yorkshire. Red Kite View provides a spacious, therapeutic environment where we support young people experiencing significant psychiatric, psychological or emotional problems that are causing them difficulties with their interpersonal, educational and social functioning. The service is staffed by a dedicated multi-disciplinary team including nurses, psychiatrists, teachers, clinical psychologists and a wide range of allied health professionals and non-clinical support staff. You will receive weekly clinical supervision from a qualified clinical psychologist. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality psychological assessment, formulation and intervention within the service. This will include supporting the implementation of PBS and AMBIT, the clinical models for the wards. Key parts of the role also include audit, evaluation and research, group and individual interventions, implementation and analysis of outcomes data, and project work. Interview date is Monday 10th March Main duties of the job About the role: Working as part of a multi-skilled, experienced, motivated and creative service, you will be responsible for: Providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist to both young people and their families/carers. Participating in the evaluation of young people's care and treatment. Assisting in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. Working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified Psychologist and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures. Working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team.
