“Inspiring Excellence, building Character”
King James Academy is looking to build upon our Good grading from our Ofsted inspection at the end of last academic year by investing in talented teachers.
We are looking for a skilled primary practitioner passionate about developing a love of learning in our young people, providing high-quality teaching and ensuring our pupils flourish!
We are proud of our young people and support them as staff to be the best they can be. Our character values of respect, aspiration, resilience, and challenge are recognized in our pupils weekly in our Celebration Assembly, to which parents are invited to see their child receiving their award. In this way, we believe partnership and community are hugely important in creating happy and motivated learners.
As the primary phase of our through school, we believe that every child has the right to a primary experience of education, ensuring learning is engaging, vibrant, and fun!
Our pupils benefit from a range of specialist classrooms including science labs, a fully-equipped gymnasium, and a food tech room which we use regularly to enhance and enrich their experiences of the curriculum and of learning.
We are dedicated to high-quality professional development and there are opportunities for further progression within the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust. At King James Academy Royston, you can expect a supportive culture within a Trust with very high aspirations. We value our staff and there are many development opportunities within the Partnership.
We would love to hear from you if you think you would like to be a part of our primary team at King James.
Please visit our website: https://www.kjar.org.uk for further information. If you would like to discuss the role or visit the Academy before applying, we would be delighted to welcome you. To make an appointment please contact Mrs. Tracey Sell at t.sell@kjar.org.uk.
The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is an equal opportunities employer, committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have two satisfactory references and an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
