We are looking for enthusiastic person to join our very busy medical ward here at Whipps Cross Hospital.
The post holder will need to have excellent communication and customer care skills, as they often are the first person to greet patients, relative and visitors to the ward. The post holder needs to be dedicated to ensuring accurate details are maintained that will enable the smooth running of the ward and contribute to improving the patient’s experience.
The successful candidate will need to be able to think on their feet, be flexible, and possess organisational skills, as well as being computer literate. We can offer development opportunities and a supportive friendly environment for you to further learning opportunities
The successful candidate will support the ward manager and the team in ensuring quality of care is constantly improving and the service is developing and supporting Trust objectives and values
Main duties of the job
To undertake receptionist/telephonist duties, be a point of contact for internal and external callers and visitors, accepting deliveries, re-directing callers and service users, where appropriate, and providing information or answering questions on routine matters and ensuring that accurate messages are passed on in a timely manner
