Assistant Playworker (Lunchtime) The governing body of Forest Alliance of Nursery Schools are looking for an enthusiastic, are seeking to appoint a Assistant Play Worker (lunchtimes). We are looking for supportive, and enthusiastic individuals who are able to display initiative to join our team. We would like to hear from you if you have previous experience of working with children and young people and good inter-personal skills. Have a basic awareness of Safeguarding and Health & Safety legislation and have the ability to work well as a member of a team and independently. The role requires carrying out basic catering duties preparing and serving breakfast each day and keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy. As a Playworker the role includes: supervising the children, ensuring their safety at all times, engaging with them in aspects of play and conversation and therefore you would have the ability to adapt to the childs’ needs. Setting up activities for children aged 3-8 years old to optionally take part in.
