Head of Service for Talking Therapies: Consultant Lead Clinical/Counselling Psychologist at Outstanding NHS Trust: Band 8D, 37.5 hours/week
Berkshire Healthcare delivers award winning Talking Therapies, for anxiety and depression services, commissioned by the BOB and Frimley ICBs.
This is an exciting role for an experienced Consultant Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist to lead our successful and innovative clinical and digital Talking Therapies provision. The role offers opportunities for service development, and we are seeking an exceptional individual who will work directly with service teams and stakeholders to take this flagship service forward under the new government initiatives.
You will join a supportive and enthusiastic senior leadership team and be part of a strong collaborative network of psychological leads across the organisation.

• Overall responsibility fortheclinical,operationaland professional standardsin Talking Therapies, ensuring that the service meets key performance indicators and haseffectiveclinical, quality and performancegovernance, including digitalsystems and processes, in line with accreditation requirements.
• Leadingthe development ofTalking Therapiesto maximiseitscontribution,ensuring developmentsarealignedwith Trust, local systems and nationalstrategy,policyand practice drivers.
• Developingand operationally managingthe Trust delivery model for the nationalTalking Therapiesstrategy, within the Frimley ICS, BOBICSand wider system partners. This will include new business,relevantclinicaldevelopments(including therapeutic models and delivery modalities)andTalking Therapieslong term expansion.

The “must haves” for this role:
• Post graduate doctoral qualification in clinical/counselling psychology and substantial expertise in managing psychological services
• Expert knowledge of relevant psychological models, approaches and digital service delivery
• Successful track record of developing innovative and/or award-winning health services
• Committed to having a service-based presence across the Berkshire footprint
