Now is a very exciting time to join Children’s Services in Salford on our journey to ‘Outstanding’. The role will celebrate the practice of our workforce and the impact to our children, young people, parents and carers by providing qualitative and performance data to help shine a light on successes of our practice and identify areas of improvement.
You will be an integral part of our leadership team with the confidence and ability to use a number of different tools and systems to translate data and performance indicators. This will provide a clear understanding of the impact we are making and ensuring that we go beyond our statutory duties for ‘Outstanding’ outcomes in all areas of practice.
As a key member of our leadership team and someone who will provide regular data and analytical reporting, we are seeking an individual with a key passion for innovation and how data and technology can support better outcomes for our workforce and families. You will have an understanding of performance management tools, techniques and have confidence translating this into reports, training and supporting embedding learning into practice where required.
In Salford, we are interested in you as a person and the employee you are or who you aspire to be.
You will be responsible for:
1. Taking the lead role in providing data, intelligence and analysis that drives service improvement and improves outcomes for those we work for.
2. Being a key member of the senior leadership team across children’s services. We want you to be confident in taking a lead role in challenging progress and driving the improvement journey.
3. You will work alongside corporate partners, stakeholders, partner agencies to support our partnership in achieving outstanding outcomes. You will work on a local and national level to deliver directives that feed into our business planning and service performance.
4. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and oversight of our performance data alongside statutory returns to showcase our practice.
Our offer to you:
1. Up to 34 days holiday a year (pro rata if 4 days).
2. Competitive salary following pay and grading review in 2023.
3. Free parking.
4. Hybrid working giving flexibility for you to manage your diary and offer a better work/life balance.
