We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Product Content Writer to drive content optimization and strategy for a MarTech transformation project. This project sets out to re-platform and consolidate 4 flagship websites with the goal of implementing scalable web authoring technology and providing the best-in-class experience for our users.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to coordinate content creation and provide feedback, ensuring that all content is optimized for SEO, aligned with best practices, and enhances user experience across our digital platforms and conversion funnels.
As part of the role, you will play a key part in identifying and implementing content frameworks, processes, and best practices to ensure the project's success and advance our digital content maturity.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Content Management: Coordinate, structure, and optimize website content using a CMS (WordPress).
* SEO & Accessibility: Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and meets WCAG accessibility standards.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with brand owners and the digital product team to ensure content meets business and user needs.
* Content Governance: Support the implementation of content frameworks and best practices to improve digital content maturity.
* Quality Assurance: Proofread, test, and review content for accuracy, consistency, and performance. Provide feedback and collaborate with content teams to ensure tasks are prioritized and actioned effectively.
* Analytics & Insights: Use tools like Google Analytics to make data-driven decisions and assess content effectiveness and recommend improvements.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve content workflows and governance structures.

Statutory requirements
* Eligibility to live and work in the UK;
* Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent.
* Fluency in English.
Experience and knowledge
* Previous experience writing copy for web marketing role – D2C, B2B, B2C, B2B2C.
* Experience managing web content.
* Proficiency in using a CMS (e.g. WordPress, Elementor, Guttenberg, HubSpot).
* Strong knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), and content governance.
* Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including brand owners and product teams.
* Analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions, and measure impact.
* Excellent attention to detail, editorial skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Understanding of GDPR and data hygiene.
* Knowledge of the education sector (Desirable).
* Familiarity with digital content strategy, content modelling, and structured content approaches. (Desirable).

* A confident writer, who can quickly create clean, compelling copy for a variety of outputs with impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and a strong eye for detail.

* An eye for detail, with the ability to spot trends, proofread, copywrite, and analyze data.
* Understanding of web accessibility, HTML, and CSS.

* Experience of working with Microsoft 365 including; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.

* Experience managing web content within a digital transformation environment. (Desirable).
* Knowledge of UX principles and content design best practices. (Desirable).
