So, join us What we need you to do You will enjoy lots of autonomy in owning, executing & transforming the community engagement strategies through social media platforms, blogs and events. Direct the sponsorship of local events and activities that support the brand. Oversee branded events and activities to support the sales and marketing team, i.e. venue sales. Own, plan, develop and execute the loyalty (MGM) scheme within the areas we serve, with the aim of acquiring leads or new customers. Support the execution of LightSpeed’s brand strategy ensuring the continual evolution of the positioning to drive brand preference within the areas we operate. Digitally-savvy, thrive on building relationships and excited by the idea of coordinating dynamic customer campaigns on a regular basis. To act as a central point of contact for all LightSpeed marketing activities. Drive customer adoption by supporting, and executing B2C, B2B, desk, community engagement and wholesale marketing activities. Support the marketing team with executing social media posts, blogs, local advertising and news articles. Transform our current presence online and be seen as a thought leader. Responsible for keeping track of merchandise stock levels and budget. Participate in and support branded events and activities to generate content, i.e. gather video testimonials from customers, milestone achievements and photo opportunities. Responsible for budget management - raising and logging PO's in line with budget. Work with the wider marketing team to help deliver key messages and support on marketing campaigns and activity. Analyse and report on the competitive landscape and industry. Keep abreast of current trends in marketing. The ability to travel widely as required. Completion of administration duties as required. What we need from you Degree educated, preferably in marketing, social media, journalism, advertising, communications, or a related field. 2 years of relevant work experience. Have a strong grasp of written English, including grammar and spelling, is essential for a social media & blog content. Project Management – experience managing multiple streams of tasks with competing deadlines is key to this role, as your organisation and prioritising skills will be essential. Communication - we need a confident communicator with great influencing skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Experience of working within a busy environment, both individually and as a team. Enthusiastic and motivated to expand knowledge and responsibility.
