The Operations Resilience Lead will play a critical role within the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Boards System Operations Centre (SOC), providing operational leadership to maintain system flow across Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) pathways. The role involves implementing national and local guidance, ensuring system assurance through clear actions and measurable targets, and chairing daily System Resilience Calls to drive effective collaboration and problem-solving among partners. Key responsibilities include overseeing system performance, managing escalation processes, and proactively addressing risks to ensure patient safety during periods of increased system pressure. The post holder will also support the wider Unplanned Care team in delivering national and local priorities to improve outcomes, enhance operational performance, and provide value for money. This position requires strong management skills to lead initiatives aligned with NHS priorities, as well as the ability to propose and implement policy changes that enhance resilience. The post holder will work five days across a seven-day rota, including rotational weekend shifts, with flexibility to adapt to system pressures. This is a highly collaborative role requiring exceptional communication skills and operational expertise to drive meaningful improvements in healthcare delivery across the system.
