Job summary UHDB is seeking to recruit a Speciality Doctor in Rheumatology to join the well established team. The department's work involves the assessment, follow-up and monitoring of patients with inflammatory arthritis, CTD, metabolic bone diseases and osteoarthritis. QHB site has 2.6 WTE consultants providing service from main site and also community. This site is also supported by registrars and Clinical Nurse Specialists, specialist physiotherapy and OT. Joint and soft tissue injections as well as medical infusions are carried out on site. Main duties of the job The appointee will be responsible for: Providing a comprehensive service alongside consultant colleagues for diagnosis & treatment of patients referred to rheumatology. Responsible for the continuing care & treatment of patients in your Active participation in undergraduate & post graduate education Provision of cover for your middle grade colleagues during reasonable periods of leave including care of patients.
